Hi. I’m Paul Sonderegger, a strategist, storyteller, technologist — in that order. Really I’m an English major with a tech habit.
The world is making a digital copy of itself, and that’s a big deal. Information is part of every activity in personal, public and commercial life. It helps us decide and do things better (but not always good things). When you dramatically cut the cost of capturing, keeping and using information, you can do things and make choices in ways that used to be impossible.
I work for Oracle where I’m a Big Data Strategist. Before that I was Chief Strategist at a great startup called Endeca. And before that I was an analyst at Forrester.
Nothing I say here says anything about Oracle’s opinions on this stuff. You can see what I write for them at Forbes.
